my own illusion
Waiting
Searching
Hoping
I’m not sure what to do
I’m stuck in one place
Putting everything on hold
I’m scared
I’m lost
I thought I knew
But I don’t have the slightest clue
My bodies in pain
My mind is restless
I can’t sleep
My dreams are becoming reality
My fear I have to realize
Is staring me
Dead in the eyes
I sit in a single spot
Knowing
Waiting is my specialty
I wish to cry
No
I need to cry
I thought all this time
I wasn’t being selfish
That all I did was for others
I never saw
What a fool I could be
I never saw my reflection
Everything was the illusion
I’d give anything
To turn back the arms of time
It will never happen
I was a puppet of my illusion
I never noticed it
I saw right threw it
All I want is to help
All I need is a smile
And what I wish
Is to
Never fall for my own illusion
