My best friend

• Description: This was a poem i wrote when me and my friend were fighting and it was my fault. I was very sad about it and wrote this poem to vent my sadness of the whole thing. It is kind of a story in poem form, but i still feel it is one of the best things i have wrote.

You’re my best friend
I didn’t want that to end
But sadly your gone
And I know what I did was wrong
I stand in the hall
Leaning against the wall
You walk past me without a sound
And my tears slowly fall to the ground
I whisper under my breath a short 3 line rhyme:
“I’ll wait for you
I’ll cry for you
And soon enough I will die for you.”
