• As a beautiful maiden stretches her limbs
Her hair is ruffled by a soft blowing wind
She stood on the lush green, grassy ground
As she viewed the world around.

She saw laughter and peace, flowers and Sun
But she also saw that a war had begun
'Twas a war between Nature and Man's new Machines
They were dirty and loud, with a strange silver gleam.

It was clear the Machines had already won
Killing the trees, blocking the Sun
But sadly, the maiden could only wait
'Cause only time could tell the Earth's gloomy fate.

Years later the maiden was still standing there
The wind still ruffled her long, tangled hair
And far down below, the children were playing
Under the Willow, blowing and swaying
