At The End, There's Only Lies

If you could, it's best to imagine that as a whisper. Just to sort of... add to the emotional value of it, I guess. Oh, there I go, babbling nonsensical babble again.

I need someone to save me
To rescue me
To help me live...
I need someone to hold me
To keep me close
Don't let go...

Standing on the edge
I see the chasm below
I don't know what to do
Do I go back
Or do I let my life go?

Grab me by the shoulders
By the neck if you must
Keep me from ending it all
Unless, of course
You want me to fall

I'm so indecisive
What should I do?
I hate this foul world
But I'm in love with you

There's no time left to choose

As the wind whips my hair 'round
And causes my eyes to tear
Your shouts, I cannot hear

But suddenly, I realize
As I slowly open my eyes
A dream, this was
But it's no surprise
For my mind is a maze
At the end is no prize

Just a land full of lies...
(You can let go now...)
