• Ice
You see the world in black and white.
    Your eyes are hardly used.
You're blinded by the light that shines on your existance.
And you lack the knowlege to shade your eyes.

Boy, you see the river of the steady stream flowing.
You see the great oak tree you planted, it keeps growing.
And this lesson in life will give you strength, eventually showing...

Girl, you see the isolated moon in the night, shining.
You see the poor child whom scraped his knee, whining.
And this lesson in sorrow with give you strength, eventually finding...

But your eyes decieve you, the world around you will change.
And plunge you into the helpess dark as it has many times before.

The river is frozen, is it still flowing?
The tree is cut, is it still growing?
Boy, you only wonder what I've been showing.

The moon falls, no longer shining.
The child dies, no longer whining.
Girl, you can only wonder what I've been finding.

And as the seasons change, children.
You run and hide from the cold in your warm months.
But eventually your eyes will be openned.
And you will watch with me, as the world turns to Ice.
