Tears fill my eyes,
We both know what I have to do
I release you from my grip;
Now I'm separated from you.

It hurts me so bad
But I know it's for the best.
It's time I repay you;
It's time I settle my debts.

It's hard, it's just so hard,
And my tears won't cease to flow.
As I look one last time in your eyes,
I know it's time to let you go.
