• Lightly on the snow she lies
while in the sun her tears slowly dry
lips redening as her colors fade slowly
    as her body collapsed slowly
the glitter in her eyes that once gleamed
the thoughtful look of when she dreamed
her existance has gone or so it had seemed

words now fadeing were traced in snow
written down not too long ago
wispering words that wander in ears
gentil cries of sorrow and tears

By the rose bush lyeth she dead
as the willow tree swayed overhead
a look a beauty all around
both knowing they wound never be found

The beauty of the lady was there
her face her eyes her ever shining hair
the corps of such wonder only a godess would compare

Time has passed hundreds of years or so
and where she once layed roses would grow
with only a trace of her decayed body below

    On a horse rideth he
    courage, nobless and bravery
    to a pond travels he
some were underneath a willow tree
where roses bloom and a lady once loomed
    and there she had layen
and wispers of sadness still remain

The knight dismounted from his horse
filled with a strange sorrow and remorse
as he glanced at the mud from many rain
and sees there, traced a name
he squints his eyes to see the name that was traced
that from all the rain was almost erased

almost as if an angel cryed
sat him weeping sword put aside
beauty of such he heard a lullaby
so quietly, wondering if it came from dirt or sky

he then saw an image fast as that of her
she looked astonished and was just about to speak
but then she remembered and a tear rolled down her cheek

and she disapeared in the warm breeze
however he could still her her voice crying in the trees
again he fell down to his knees to read aloud her name
to the last lullaby she sang in vain
    "the lady of the vally"
