As i sat shining my diamonds,
my child asked if she could play with one.
In haste i told her no,
for i didn't want her hurting herself.
She didn't understand and started cying,
and as i held her i told her the stories of a ruby maker.
As she got older,
i decided to give her a gift.
As she opened the box i had wraped she screamed,
it was a large dimond necklace.
It was not long after that her love died,
for he was in a cross-fire on the job.
In the night i heard a loud scream,
i ran down stairs and didn't want to believe my eyes.
The diamond was in her,
and blood overflowing out.
As i held her close,
and kissed my child.
I couldn't stop what was happening,
so one last time i told her the story of the ruby maker.
As her lifless body lay limp,
i started to cry.
I removed the now red diamond,
and like the ruby maker she too made a ruby.

Wow, it's too tragic to find out how the diamond was used to kill herself D:
