-
I cry loudly
Into a crowded night,
“Someone help me!
Something’s not right!”
All around me
People mill.
They hear me
And yet still….
Someone turn,
Someone look.
Help me find,
What they took.
Someone help me,
Someone, please?
Someone help me
Overcome this disease.
No one turns,
No one hears.
No one acknowledges
These strangling fears.
Anger, hatred,
I’ve grown so cold.
Why must I lose a soul
I never sold?
If you can’t save me
I must kill you
To save myself the pain
Of the light that never grew!

- Title: I Must Kill You
- Artist: Ryosei_Hime
- Description: This is an older poem I found in my folder while I was bored in Introduction to Computers today. It's a lot about my mental illnesses and the fact that my family - this entire state as a matter of fact - is blissfully ignorant to the impact mental illness has on a person. It also makes reference to two of my old poems : "Garden Gate" and "It Won't Grow." It's not great, but I'm fond of the last stanza.

- It seems to make sense to me, but then I've known a lot of confusion and can identify... I am mentally ill myself.
