New Age Culture:
How the Age thrills me,
How this Culture kills me,
Technology drives me crazy,
I fear of what may come.
Today I had enough,
Sitting in the mall watching them all,
I sit silently for long enough,
Soon I will take to action,
To hell with the New Age.
I leap up from my bench,
And land on a table,
Angrily and insanely I dance,
Stomping and yelling,
My Culture won't like this.
Kicking purses and crushing beverage cups,
No condiment dispenser is safe,
One lady screams while others point and laugh,
I have no sympathy for either as I lob a coke bottle their way,
Oh how pretty they look in the brown rain.
I stopped,
Have been for some time,
Just standing still and breathing deeply,
The rage blinded me,
The soil slowly snows from the up rooted planter in my hand.
The police finally came for me,
I give no fight,
Have none to give,
I'm just glad I gave the New Age Culture the finger.
