READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST, PLEASE.
where's matthew?
you call his name day in day out,
what do you ask him about?
where's matthew?
when you cry and cry,
does he have to endure your saddened sigh?
where's mathew?
"do not worry," you say he said,
are those demands locked in your head?
whre's matthew?
now that you call for him again,
will he come? does he listen?
where's matthew?
now that he's stolen a part of you,
how much of you is left for me to call to?

- Description: this is the background story of where the inspiration to write this came from: my mother got pregnant with her first child at 16. she miscarried. lost her son. three years later she birthed her next child. a daughter. as the years passed she continued to have daughters. she now has five. but she never wanted any. she only wanted a son.....

- Oh god, that background story made me sad. That's what I've been told my future would be like because all I want is a baby boy, not a girl. Not that I'm pregnant or anything, I just have a whole future planned out already. Knowing the background story, that poem makes me very depressed. It's rather good.
