• I lie here
    In the grass
    With you watching
    The time pass.
    It seems so dark because it's
    Nighttime;
    But I feel your heart glow a radiant
    Light
    I'm feeling the rush as the wind goes by,
    Surrounded by cold
    And fireflies.
    Sense the constellations
    As they slowly say
    "Goodbye";
    Hear the song of crickets
    In the wood
    (I love their serenade).
    I forget that every blade
    Is sliding through my skin;
    Inflicting wounds so thin
    I feel their pang of tiny pain.
    Yet I don't care,
    You feel the same

    (We close our eyes.)
    The cloudless skies;
    The stars arise.
    A view is shown,
    So full of drama.
    A light show seen
    In panorama.
    A rain of meteors:
    [One and two.]
    The wishes made
    Have now come true.

    We said so little
    (But said so much)
    A veil between us
    Just needs our touch.
    And we sit tight;
    And we lie down;
    It's hard to think
    We're still in town
    Inside your yard.
    (We still could be
    Just think real hard.)

    The leaves, they danced
    The prancing deer
    The wildlife watched as I got
    Near you.
    So quiet that I can barely hear
    You blow the head;
    Now the dandelion seeds
    Go travel up north
    To the land it receives.
    They shower above us
    You picked a flower
    Said "I love us."
    Then another whisper
    And off they go;
    Flying away and
    Falling like snow
    They sprayed off into
    Their departure.
    (I'm slowly feeling
    The beat
    Of your heart.)
    You're letting this out:
    A breath of fresh air
    I still can't believe that you
    Are still there
    Lie awake
    Still alive
    To my nebulous dream...
    We start shouting aloud
    To this feeling extreme!

    A breeze so cool [they freeze my tears]
    A love so strong they chase my fears
    Away
    And sky starts turning night to day...
    Right now it just feels so okay
    To stay
    To lie and wait
    From dusk to dawn:
    We stay awake.

    As the sun says hello
    And the birds belt a tune
    They glide all around
    (Gold, yellow, maroon.)
    And it's so sad
    To say
    That darn word so soon
    We were a thousand miles away
    Yet were still in town
    [The daylight receives
    It's auroral crown]
    A peck on the cheek
    "Goodbye, little miss"
    Then we held our breath
    For a passionate kiss.
