    I remember when I was small.

    I remember you teaching me how to walk,
    holding my hand with every step.

    I remember when I was small,
    you left me at school,
    I cried hours waiting for you to return.

    I remember you taught me how to drive a bike,
    With training wheels you stood by me,
    making sure I won't fall,
    When I did you took care of my wound.

    I remember when I was sad,
    you would always know how to cheer me up,
    You still do,
    and now I do too.

    It may have been awhile ago but,
    I wanted you to know I still remember when I was small,
    and I meant to tell you that,
    I didn't forget.
