Somewhere away, I understand my blessings
Counting them, as angels seem to avoid rescue
Counting them, before a darker atmosphere
Evaluating and measuring
The beams of balance
Between right from wrong
Throwing unborn child
Into the river
Drown it all away
Let it fill your lungs
Dead sea water
Dipping my head with dew
As I rise only to take
Needy defeats moral
Despair hardens emotion
Hope hangs truth
I can only count my past
For this blank slate
Brings no stable future
With my blessing
From this nectar
Words may never live up to

- 'Between right from wrong' doesn't make sense, maybe change 'from' to 'and'. 'Throwing [an] unborn child[,]' would sound better, also, at the end of some of the lines you might want to put commas to both add to the fluency of the poem and to the dramatic affect of it.
