In the dead pools of yore,
One will find their heart.
To bleed is to live,
To live is to love.
Without love there is no life,
Only death.
To swim in the river styx
Is to seal the deal with Hades.
Of which your soul is forever lost,
In the dead pools of yore.
In the dead pools of yore,
Your soul will swim forever.
As your soul swims, your body dies,
Nothing remains but an empty shell.
Your blood seeps into the fields of tomorrow,
And your face becomes a memory of yesterday.
Until your body ventures to find its soul,
In the dead pools of yore.
In the dead pools of yore,
Your soul weeps.
Your dead heart clots,
As you decompose.
Your body slowly sinks,
Into pits of despair.
Until the meeting of body and soul,
Reunites the two, forever trapped,
In the dead pools of yore.
