A beat that stays strong
and continues on long.
It beats quietly;
but feeling loud around me.
A peek, a stare
A glimpse of a rare
prey on my sight
i look left; i look right.
'Go for the jumping,'
my heart starts pumping.
Jump, I did.
against the sand, arid.
'Did I catch the prey?'
I began to say.
I open my paws
saw nothing but claws.
I look behind me,
And what did I see?
I saw 'it.'
That stupid rabbit.
That was a treasure;
Nothing else can measure.
I just lost a meal
that was of great deal
when you're in a desert
being alert,
being alone
with nothing but stone.
and find something
that you're wanting
but slips away
like a snake.
Now there is nothing
except for glumly
Leaving the opposite way. gonk

- Title: The Lion and the Rabbit
- Artist: hikari megumi 15

Description:
My poem is about my relationship with a guy I liked. I was very happy with him, until I lost him.
I never saw him again. (True story)
To make it more clear, I am the lioness; the guy i liked was the rabbit. If you look deep into my words instead of quickly reading it, you'd understand.
So I made it into a nature theme.
Is it about love? Yes. Most of my poems are about love. - Date: 05/31/2009
