• The hour was late
    And we were alone
    A wonderful date;
She was cold to the bone.
In an abandoned factory we danced
Made my move while I had the chance
She put her lips to the ear on my head
And slowly whispered, "I wish you were dead."
I jumped back in fear and surprise
She looked at me with tears in her eyes
Then something happened that was oh so weird
The sun came up and she disappeared
Never had I saw a ghost before
Especially one that was a whore
    Suddenly I faded away
And kept begging if I could stay
    And suddenly date appeared
The one whom I loved and feared
Slowly she took me by the hand
    And forced me to understand
She was killed by a broken heart
Ended by a love before it could start
She returns to the world to try and find peace
She found more; she fell in love with me
I hold her close and kiss her lips
As I feel her skin on my fingertips
It's surprising that we feel so alive
    Considering we've already died
