I laugh so I don't cry
I giggle so you won't hear my sad voice
I miss it when it was just us
You know the three of us

Standing in a circle in my back yard
Singing and talking of...
God knows what

I miss the feeling of a real laugh
I miss the feeling of knowing...
That maybe, just maybe...
Everything's going to be alright

Why can't we go back
Put our friendship together again
You'll find that the only thing we really need
Is just us

To me it sounds more like lyrics than a poem, but it makes a really nice poem still and if it were a song it would be so sad and sweet=)
