    Darkness has fallen,
    Strange things have come out,
    It’s time to be what you’re not,

    Fairies in makeup,
    Glittering bright,
    Witches cackling,
    Giving a fright,

    Mummies a-shuffle,
    Zombies un-dead,
    Vampires whose fangs are dripping red,

    Doorbells chime,
    And people scream,

    On this,
    The night of Halloween.
