    sprinkled down my arm.

    "A TURTLE--THAT FLIES?!"

    as I rolled out of bed,
    a lump the size of a egg
    on my head.

    as I got dressed,
    a winged-turtle apparition
    saying I'd been "blessed."

    I was suprised to find
    as I watched the room spin,
    that I was fighting this "blessing"
    and I wasn't going to win.

    I was suprised to find
    my smile was so faint,
    I wondered if all the red liquid
    was actually paint.

    The surgeons, they tried
    to take the lump off my head.
