School’s an adventure,
Just mucking around.
But without you here with me,
What joy can be found?
I swapped poems with Gloria,
She read a few.
But as her eyes crossed the page,
I knew she wasn’t you.
Fooled around maths class,
Just being insane
But without you next to me,
It wasn’t the same.
My tennis partner sucked,
She always hogged the ball.
Without you there, not pulling your weight,
It wasn’t much fun at all.
I can’t find a book to read,
There is nothing on the shelf.
Library’s dull without you,
I’ll find a book myself.
Lunchtime’s are no good,
The conversations I have are bland.
And somewhere I know,
You are happily holding your boyfriend’s hand.
I maybe happy with my friends here,
But they will never be the same as you.
Lunchtime and classes are still heaps of fun,
But everything’s uncomfortably new.
Swimming is hell,
With nothing to do.
No one to joke with,
As one such as you.
Even though we’ve learnt to live without,
And our not being friends is something that I doubt.
I miss you every single day,
Why does friendship have to be this way?

- Title: Missing You
- Artist: Sarahphrina
- Description: It's kinda like as if it is written by two people. The red verses are being spoken by one person and the black are spoken by another. The purple verse is both friends speaking together as one.
