• It is someone who you should treasure
    Someone whose love is hard to measure.
    She is outstanding and so unique
    She is the character you should seek.

    You should know by now of whom I mean
    The person sometimes remains unseen.
    She cleans your room and makes you lunch
    It is someone you should thank a bunch.

    The person said has a common name
    For everyone it remains the same.
    That name is Mom or Mother perhaps
    She makes your bed and lets you nap.

    You should love and cherish her always
    And help her because it always pays.
    This poem is to you my Mother
    For you know I can’t have another.

    This is to thank everything you do
    And always know how much I love you.
