    when facing yet another night alone
    when I rise to watch the bugs on the window pane
    and wonder what you are doing again tonight,

    when it's not you again that answers the phone
    and ponder all the meanings of words like 'sane'
    but I have to let you go, it's only right

    but my worried look wonders what happens to me
    when I sit in the cage with the open door that set you free
