It was a cold, dark, horribly wonderful night
The moon, how beautiful it was and how bright
I walked through the forest without care
Little did I know that you were there
Were you a ghost or a nightmare I couldn't tell
But when I met your gaze I was under your spell
Your icy touch and piercing eyes
We stayed together before the sunrise
Your lips found the pulse where the blood flowed like a river
Before you even took a bite, oh how I began to quiver!
When I awoke, the sun was streaming through the trees
You vanished as if you were nothing but a breeze
I wanted to stay with you, together we could have hid from the light
My love, let us meet again tonight
