• The light of life.

It dawned upon me that there was nowhere to go.
Not a city, a town, or a house full of people I know.
So I sat and waited in the snow,
For the light of life to glow.

I ended up in New Jersey, where gardens bloomed.
When I then realized the gardens were doomed.
Not a creature or person to be groomed.
    Those poor gardens were doomed.

So there I was, as the sun rose.
Accompanied by a dying little rose.
Where the wind would chill my nose.
    Sitting in the garden’s rows.

I am certain now, there is nowhere to go.
Not a city, a town, or a house full of people I know.
So I sat and waited in the snow,
For the light of life to glow.
