I sit alone in a darkened room,
The fate I chose has brought my doom.
Eternally reaching, for a better life,
While wallowing deep, in grief and strife.
No one calls there, it is endless night,
Nothing shines here, no light in sight.
Can I leave...this place of mine?
I do not know, I cannot whine.
It it easy, to become insane,
When all around you, is endless bane.
Society can keep its standards, stare
In this place, they would be useless.
Others live with blinders,
Feeling life's soft caress.
Few can really see,
The world for what it is.
So I sit alone in a darkened room,
I chose the fate that brought my doom.
