I walk along the halls of books,
Dust floating in the air.
I find the perfect story for me,
And sit right in a chair.
I open the blue satin cover,
To find quite a surprise.
A little girl stares up at me,
With intense beady eyes.
I drop the book onto the floor,
And let out a tiny gasp.
A micro hand peeks from the story,
pages making a dry rasp.
I crawl up onto my previous seat,
letting out a little scream.
I lost my balance right then and there,
and woke up from my dream.

Description:
Yay, my first poem that actually rhymes! I haven't entered anything in a while, so I thought I'd try my hand at writing another poem. I don't really like the title, but it's all I could think of. If you have a better one, please let me know!
