• Everything Fades Away

    I walk into a crowded room and say hello to everybody that I know,
    But they don't know who I am.
    My high school friends, I thought it'd never end.
    But in the end I guess we all forget.
    It's so hard to see how far we've grown apart.
    I sit at home wondering is this life or am I dreaming.
    Because reality seems so distant, and everything fades away.

    I open my eyes and the fog sets in, all around me.
    It's way too deep to fall back asleep.
    So I'll lay awake until sun comes up.
    But it's just another day, and it's all the same.
    The memories flash back to me, but I'm to drowsy, and everything fades away.

    It's like an ocean wave inside my mind.
    I'm drowning in my thoughts, as salt water falls from my eyes.
    I try to hold my breath but I'm running out of time.
    The darkness sets in, as I start sinking, and everything fades away.
