-
Gliding past waiting teeth, a quivering sound rotates in the still air.
Moist and pliable, it elongates, flattens into a coiling ribbon of velvet energy-
Scraping the barriers of soprano and baritone.
It reaches up and curls through its essence, twisting into an intricate vocal bow.
A palpable flash of sound reverberates across the kitchen, leaving abruptly with the promise of another.
