paint a smile
upon my face
so i can blend in
with the human race
walking to get by
passing all the scenes
with my plain white tee
and dusty old jeans
the paint stays dry
a i talk to my friends
i'll keep it like this
until the day ends
is it right to paint a smile
so obviously fake?
or even to rip it off
and final awake?
the decisions mine
to blend in with the crowd
or should i scream " who am i ?" out loud?
the choice is up to me
life is life
it can be gone in a blink
so i wash it off
the paint is gone
my true self shows
it is now turned on
did i do the right thing
by smearing it away
or should i go back to
what i did everyday
but i can't go back
the paint can is empty
so i decide to stand up
and give life a whack
I'm so happy to live
without that paint on my face
my smile is real now
it's in the right place

- Very nice, a lot of people could relate to this probably, I know I'm one of them. Although there are some grammar errors, but other then that, it flowed well and I like it! 5/5 Keep writing, you're talented!^^
