A.D.D.- Internal Enemy

• Description: I suffer from A.D.D (Attention Deficit Disorder). It is hard to concentrate in school, I often find myself filling up notebooks with doodles instead of work, and everyone thinks I am strange because of it. So I wrote this poem to show how I feel towards this invisible monster inside me.

My minds corruption
My self destruction
When you moved in I thought nothing of it
Until you took the wheel and started to steer

I’m the deer in the headlights
Your coming full force
Crashing into my sanity
Without remorse

My mind is a hurricane
Category five
Thought are swirling around like they’re going out of style
You’re in the eye

Wafting ideas surround you
Nice, cool, smooth ideas
But not me
The torrential confusion engulfing me
Makes me think that one is a letter of the alphabet
And two is a vowel

But hey, that’s my story
Casting the characters
Me, Myself, and A.D.D

this great, i give it a 4 personally simply because i cant imagine what that must be like (this however does give insight) but for arena purposes i gave it a 5. You should keep it up

I dont have ADD but i have to deal with certain symptoms of depression, makes it a lonely world.
