So the night goes on,
In blissful sweet motion,
The thought of the new day,
Far from our moment,

Slow turnings of the seasons,
Slow living of all meaning,
Far from reality and truth,
In our fantasy minds,

Stars twinkle movement,
The moon beams the emotion,
Of man kinds unknown day,
In the shadow of the unknown room,

Sleep lover sleep,
It'll be our day soon,
Sleep lover sleep,
To the song of the moon.
