• I saw the world. I saw it and thought, "What a place..." Because this place, sometimes felt like a whole 'nother world. I felt it through the rush. The wind blowing in my hair, my legs running through the currents of the wind, my body flying almost in the sky!

    It felt....

    Invigorating.

It was like a drug maybe, to feel such a rush to yourself. This freedom, this thing we called freedom. It may seem so small, but it's like a gift from your Grandma at Christmas. You see it and instantly pop up and brighten up some.

It feels good to feel the earth between your toes.

It feels good to smells good to smell the scent of newly fresh grass....

But now, I just reminiscence on those days. I sit in a chair, knitting my grandchildren objects of hopefully soon to be sentimental value.

    And I wait...
Wait for that feeling to someday come back...
To feel the earth between my toes again....

To feel what it was like to truly, truly feel young and free again...

That my friend, is what it's like.
