-
Peer out of the pale glossy window,
As moonlight drenches and cascades onto the floor.
Notice as the breeze swims through a crack,
Nestling itself into your cheek.
Open your eyes, and gaze into the ever-growing expanse of the universe,
Watch as the oblivion unfolds in a never ending festival of enigma.
And notice, just this once,
You are no longer who the world defines you as.
Walk along the forested path, blanketed with fallen leaves,
They dwindle from the sky, lost to fate and time of the season,
And realize, now, that you still have a chance.
Along the path of life,
Though it is limited by time and aging,
You can still harness the ability,
Of becoming beautiful.
