Slickery, creeping,
twitching along.
The spider sings to the fly.
Crooning finality,
weaving a song.
The spider sings to the fly.
Sleek death knowing,
it registers now,
that life is the spider and we the fly.
- Title: Spider Singing to a Fly
- Artist: Surudain
- Description: The early morning hours brought me this, it started with a title, and I basically produced the poem line by line. The ending appeared in my head somewhere around the middle of the poem. Frankly, it surprised me. I hope you enjoy. By the way, I know that "slickery" is not a word, it just fit the work. Anybody who has read that good bit about the Jabberwocky would know about that sort of thing.
