• Restless heart
    Rising winds
    It calls my name
    Upon its breath
    And lures me out
    With a sirens call
    Darkness,
    As the twilight comes
    And night falls

    Sweet air cools my mind
    Lashing winds caress my skin
    Gently stroking my hair
    They whisper
    Of things beyond
    Of secrets and powers
    Now long gone

    Light flashes
    And claws the sky
    Answering with a cry
    That sounds upon the land
    Making the air tremble
    And many quake
    Where they stand

    Trembling heart
    Elated mind
    Holds mystery and fear
    Known from times long past
    Giving us reminders still
    Of the wonder it holds
And sings to me of beauty
Of things I do not know

    Rain kisses my cheek
    Brushing my lashes
    With its lingering touch
    Water swells
    Rivers crash and waterfalls roar
    And runs like tears
    Over the land
    As the Earth cries
    Tears of life

    But is not all giving
    And is to be feared
    And takes viciously
    Just as it gives
    Red among the trees
    All consuming
    In its vengeful wrath
    Icy torrents
    Being swept by its current
    Caught in deaths pull

    Held in thrall
    My spirit soars
Far beyond the clouds and sky
    Kept in awe
    By its violent passion
    My soul rests
    Within its cold embrace
    For I am at Peace
    At Peace within the Storm
