• He stares at the face of insanity.
Her face is bright and filled with glee.
She smiles. "Will you dance with me?"
    Then they begin their dance.

    Peeling walls and dusty floor.
    She imagines so much more.
A dance with the one she adores.
    They continue to dance.

Her dress is made of rags, he sees.
She's taken him, she's so crazy.
He's trapped in there, he cannot flee.
He must keep up the dance.

His feet drag across the floor.
She doesn't notice, "Let's dance more!"
He accepts his fate, opens the door.
    He joins her crazy dance.

An awful smell won't leave that room.
Her past princes met their doom.
The lowly closet is their tomb.
    They can no longer dance.

"Let's drink something," that man said.
The liquid was a dark blood red.
She drank it, so sick in the head.
    "Let's continue our dance."

He takes her out so they can eat.
She tells him that he's just so sweet.
He finally rests his tired feet.
    They pause within their dance.

She takes him to that secret room.
A bedroom that was never used.
They enter, and then passion blooms.
It's a new kind of dance.

The next morning, he escapes back home.
He stares at his voiceless phone.
He realizes that he feels alone.
    He returns to her dance.

He feels sad for just awhile.
But frowning isn't the right style.
The razor makes an eternal smile.
    He cannot stop the dance.

The two, they never want to part.
Inside that bedroom, the end will start.
She takes the blade. "Give me your heart."
It's time to stop the dance.

He takes the knife and he obeys.
The blood flows out in streams and sprays.
    It's her's already anyways.
It was all for that dance.

The exposed heart gives one last beat.
His skin is blue, blood stains the sheet.
She takes the blade. "Now soon we'll meet."
    She finally stops her dance.

    Two detectives see the scene.
    A double-suicide, it seems.
She holds his heart, she is his queen.
    They died within that dance.
