where has the life in the city gone?
when all the colours become withdrawn
all its beauty hidden under frost
the home i knew is far gone and lost
people's faces, strange, i never knew
in this season, abstract, askew
i want to go back to where i'm from
deny the person i have become
bitter, sour, the taste of regret
given everyone a chance to forget

- Title: Somber, sober, in Winter.
- Artist: _inLusHtrial
- Description: A few years ago I was addicted to opiates. My parents sent me 1,500 miles away to live with my Aunt. This is something I wrote while going through withdrawal, which was during a very snowy Winter.
