Thoughts soaring to three years ago
Heart pulling in both ways
Remembering is such sweet sorrow
I am changed
Altered, now
Because of my past
My shell reflects my soul
It is a dark place,
A lonely place
But I never give in
So many happenings
So many alterations
Am I stronger for them?
Or am I torn down
Like a castle of sand
On the roaring beach?
I stand tall
My black lined eyes
My black lined heart
I do not give in

- Title: Lovely Endings
- Artist: X_Epic_x_Rainbow_X
- Description: This is a poem about me remembering three years ago, when my grandpa died of cancer, my parents split up, moving twice, my dad moving across the country, and me having to change schools. It was a hard time for me, and I changed a lot. I went from a blonde nerdish girl, to a girl who wears a lot of black eye liner, has hair over one eye, and a hat that protects me. Poetry helps me, and I really hope you like it.
