• Description: Having an odd number of lines, I decided not to separate this into stanzas. For those of you who aren't fluent in Latin, he title means "Invisible Power". I just thought titling it in a dead language would sound far smarter than titling it in Modern English. Oh, the power of internet translations...(No, I did not use Google Translate!) :)

Soon crafting words to be understood

Brought together into sentences

Dancing their way to a dialogue

Communicating the hidden expressions

Behind the speaker's monochrome mask

These words are to be understood

But are often tragically misconstrued

A simple error, a common mistake

Breaks the bonds already made

And replaces them with a solid wall

Yet people, even knowing this

Fail to realize the power of words

Not only can they bring comfort and joy

They also sting with ceaseless pain

But words are society's bane for they

Are always bound to be confused
