• Trapped in this barren land of nothingness,
You feel transformed into your surroundings.
Every Bit of life you had is stolen and sapped,
Leaving you with the dust and rocks at your feet.

The autumn trees are dead and withered,
Not even a trace of memory remains.
The only color is the fire consuming you,
Only to extinguish when you notice the flames.

Your once friends are now bitter rivals,
Thus is the cost of time unseperated.
You hate yourself for falling so far,
But you hate your reflection more for staring.

You get to a point where death is mercy,
No longer a coward's easy escape.
You desire the outcome but fear the pain,
Human nature can be so contradictive.

You start to seek a beautiful death,
Because it's the only way of honor.
To only fall while no one is looking,
Would expose a lack of character.

So there you stand, bearing your cross,
Praying for your last deep sigh.
When along comes a beautiful woman,
    Offering her hand for yours.

The sight alone brightens your world,
Let alone the feel of her soft flesh.
Her voice is silent, but you feel her calling,
It's a shame she's the answer to your prayers.

When she takes your hand she steals your heart,
You can both feel its increasing pulse.
And like magic, like hers, your voice is void,
    Yet you're completely unaware.

All you notice is what's at your front,
Those emerald eyes and enchanting smile.
Her beautiful skin and breathtaking touch,
Your body is no longer your own.

Her other hand on your chest, you feel near airborne,
She's looking at you right in the eyes.
There's not a man could resist, this last fatal bliss,
The sweet serenity of a poisonous kiss.

Your senses return, but it's now to late,
She releases your hand as you fall to your fate.
Laying flat on the ground, content in your pose,
The last thing you see, is your funeral rose.
