• The world's seen enough battles,
    Fought enough wars,
    Killed enough people,
    Closed enough doors.

Though the wars are long gone,
    Shelved away as history,
Can the people learn from their mistakes,
    Be it loss or victory?

To some, war's not just a story,
    But in fact quite real,
They're the ones who have lost family,
Sustained wounds that will never heal.

    Why must this go on?
    Why can't we ever learn?
    Why can't we just STOP
    And feel some concern?

    For the people who miss
    Their families and friends,
    For the people with loss,
For whom we can make no amends.

    The world's seen enough battles,
    Fought enough wars,
    Killed enough people,
    Closed enough doors.

    But when?
    When can we finally say
That the killing and bloodshed and war
    Is more than enough?
