I’ve got a pulse here now, I’m sure
My breath is slow and clear
My heart will keep, it will endure
So listen: I’m still here.
My fingers skitter down the veil
Which seemed so frail and sheer
I fight and push to no avail
But listen: I’m still here.
Just wait, I swear I’ll make it back
Don’t cry and rage and fear
Though no sound or light seeps through the cracks
Please listen: I’m still here.
Please open up the curtains, and
Take sheets down off the mirrors
I may not know just how I am
But HEAR ME: I'm still here!
Don’t pack the things I brought for you!
Don’t give up on me, my dear!
My pictures as smoke go up the floo
Stop it! I'M STILL HERE!
