- A depressing poem for Christmas. How elegant. yum_strawberry No, but really this poem was written at about 4am so I was trying to be all depressing and I guess I got inspired. Decide what the poem is about for yourself, thank you for reading.
- Title: Christmas Trees

Description:
I remember the sirens as it all faded to black
And I held in my sadness for so long
That I couldn't even remember what happiness felt like.
Ambulances scraped across sugar coloured paths
On that cold December night
My friends were wallowing in pain and sorrow
For I gave them the gift of grief
On what was supposed to be a beautiful celebration
Of love and joy and mistletoe
But that year, there was no Christmas tree
And there was no Christmas.
