When I was small
I swore to myself
That I would never fall in love
Not with anyone
I succeeded
But only for a short time
Not years later,
I met you.
What is this fluttering of my heart when we meet?
Why do I feel the need to be near you?
To give you my everything?
To make you happy, even if it means my discomfort?
Loving you is a nightmare,
But also a dream.
Loving you hurts,
But also heals.
I'll never escape the embrace of your love
That cradles me
But contains me
From the real world.
I cannot live on with my head in the clouds
Thinking of you every living moment.
Why won't you leave my head?
You're a drug, I'm addicted to you and I can't stop.
Loving you is a life behind bars
In a cell of clouds and comfort
Loving you is a dead end
On my life road
I can't live on loving you
I cant escape
How much longer
Till I go insane?
You're filling my head
Polluting my dreams
I know I need to move on
But you're so perfect.
Your eyes, a gray mist that surrounds me.
Your skin, a porcelain that looks so fragile
Your lips, soft and gentle, so tempting
Your heart, a sweet taste in my life of lies.
When will I escape
Your gentle heart?
I want to leave
But I can't stand hurting you
So I give in
And embrace you in my arms
And hold you
In my heart
Loving you is a dream
That has come true
Loving you was something
I'm glad happened to me.
