• There are some that will raise their nose
    Tell you that "No, marketing is not an art"
    I find it funny these same people would claim
    Music has surrounded us at all sides
    That the city streets are a constant shuffle of visual beauty.

    But the art of the marketer is musical, too
    Mostly visual and seldom effective for artists
    Like the machines milking cows on the big farms
    Or the assembly line in the factories
    Thousands go buy at a time.

    The commute to work still has me smiling fondly, though
    At the tacky nude girl on the American Apparel bill-board
    The smirk rises highest when i ponder all these "starving artists" i've met
    That just wouldn't
    Change degrees.
