The swinging door
Moves across the floor
Like waves on the shore.
That gentle swishing sound
That I just adore
It means you are here,
My dear,
You are what I look for.
Come in the room,
Don't leave me to my doom
I am one you mustn't ignore.
It's a shame you never come here
anymore, my dear
I'll give anything that you ask for.
Come, take my hand
Let us dance on grounds softer than sand
Just like before
Let us prance on the dance floor
Into the sky, we'll rise
Until we are old and wise
Together, we will soar.
But for now, my dear,
You must close that door.
Let your eyes close and have no fear
I'll stay by your side until you begin to snore.
I will make sure that the door
Does not move across the floor
Like waves on the shore.
