I play through the game a lot and have invested many resources into acquiring pokemon resources so that I can play more efficiently or acquire more rare and unique items. As such, I acquire loads of excess items and pokemon, many of which might be incredibly useful to you.

Before I talk about what I have, let me talk about "payment." I'm not talking about payment in terms of Gaia-gold or dollars, I'm talking about the quality of what you send me. See, when you acquire an item or pokemon from me, you're not really trading for that pokemon / item, you're trading for the time I spent preparing that pokemon / item. That means two things:

1) The longer it takes to acquire the pokemon / item for the trade, the more valuable the pokemon/item you must trade.

2) The more people that want these pokemon / items, the less time I have to obtain stuff, thus the more valuable the pokemon / item you must trade.


At the cheapest, I'll ask for nothing. In fact, up till now, I've asked for nothing. This means the people I've been trading with have only had to choose a "throw-away" pokemon such as a recently caught Bidoof or Geodude.

So, let's quickly go over items that you can offer if you feel that you need to increase the value of the trade you're offering. (Note that offering a pokemon will not increase the value ; I am looking only for legit pokemon and cannot confirm the legitness of a pokemon prior to trading so I'm not going to deal with that.)

I suppose I'll hold off on posting item availability information until I've finished both my Emerald note-taking-play-through (currently have all 8 badges) and my FireRed note-taking-play-through. The reason is simple: I don't know how common all items are.

Previously, Heart Scales would have been rare because I only found two just lying around in Diamond and Pearl (even if an unlimited number could be obtained from The Underground.) However, now that I've made significant progress through Emerald, I can see that might not be the case in the future. I've found 14 so far, meaning they'll actually be very available.

I don't really want the mew ; I already know from another thread that you clone your pokemon. (I wouldn't consider it to be legit.)

Thus far I've been able to migrate 12 more Jirachis into the 4th gen. I've gone ahead and checked all of their IVs and collected relevant information. Please see my first post for a list of all these pokemon. If you see a Jirachi in there that you want, speak up! smile

(I expect to transfer six more tomorrow night so don't think these are the only options.)
