I'm going to open up an art shop, but I need some samples of my art so I can get it priced fairly. I will 'shop free avi art for the first 3 people to post here (black and white only for now.) Please give me some idea of how I should price my art.

I would say 1k.
But if you're going to color or draw multi. avis the price can go up.

I would say from the black and white picture you have to cost 0.5-1k but ultimatly it is your choice.

1k-1.5k,raise the prices accordingly if you color it.

I would say...

B&W headshot- 500g
B&W halfbody- 1000g
B&W fullbody- 1500g
Colored headshot- 700g
Colored halfbody- 1400g
Colored fullbody- 2000g

Those are considerately cheap prices,so it's actually your opinion how you price them. I'm just giving a rough guideline.
