Ok, remember: Keep it PG-13 in discussion.

I've recently been introduced to Yaoi by a gay friend of mine...and I LOVE IT. I've been reading it like crazy latley, and going back to regualr manga doesn't seem like a good fit (but I still love regular manga).

Are there any series that you've read that would recommend to others? I haven't found any hentai or yuri, but I have a few yaoi I can recommend (titles in bold, summary in italics):

Embracing Love by Youka Nitta
-Life reflects art for Iwaki and Katou, two hugely famous adult film stars who are considering retirement from their sordid careers.
However, when they're invited to audition for a new erotic film, they realize that this may be their last chance to achieve mainstream success. Unfortunately, things sour quickly when the director asks them to make love... with each other... to determine who will get the lead role. What follows next is a roller coaster ride of romance, longing, and passionate *** that will alter their careers... and their lives... forever!

Gakuen Heaven by You Higuri
-Keita, your average male high school student, suddenly gets an invitation from the prestigious all-boys school Bell Liberty (BL). He's approached by two good-looking guys who turn out to be students at BL--but not just any students! They are Niwa and Saionji, or the “King”and “Queen” respectively! Filled with kidnappings, jealous students, and near-kiss experience, this highly anticipated boys' love series is an erotic tale set in an all-boys' school!

Junjo Romantica ~Pure Romance~
-Misaki is suddenly having some unexpected and odd problems. What started as a need for some college entrance exam tutoring has somehow led him to being romanced by a suave older man who also happens to be his big brother’s best friend. Confused by all of his brand new emotions, Misaki struggles to deal with his suddenly very odd life. And if that wasn’t enough, his suitor, Usami, has plenty of issues of his own. A man-child who decorates his room in giant teddy bears and toys, Usami is a famous novelist who also writes steamy boys’ love novels on the side. When Misaki cracks open one of these books and reads sentences like “Misaki licks every inch of Usami’s hot body”…well, let’s just say that all hell breaks loose. And if one couple isn’t enough for you, Junjo Romantica focuses on three different sets of lovers, each with their own compelling stories.

Love Mode by Yuki Shimizu
-Mistaken identities, bizarre accidents and pratfalls, tragic pasts and plenty of broken hearts, and that’s just for starters! Love Mode tells the story of the lives of the men involved with the classy male escort service, Blue Boy. Lovelines intertwine and cross, friendships are made and broken in this boys’ love classic!
(I highly recommend the first one)

(This next one isn't so graphic, its rated OT [Older Teen] compared to the rest, which are rated M [Mature])

Menkui! by Suzuki Tanaka
-It’s hard to be in high school, especially when you live in the shadow of your stunningly attractive older brother. It only gets worse when the really cute guy from the class next to yours starts hanging around your house, presumably to catch a glimpse of said older brother. But things are not always as they seem! Kotori is often teased for being superficial, and with a brother like Kujaku, you can’t really blame him for thinking that looks are everything. However, once Akaiwa steps into his life, Kotori is heading for a lesson in deep trust and abiding love. There’s a lot more under the surface that he’s finally about to get a chance to see!

Yuri outside of doujinshi is rare to non exsistant. Remember that yaoi and shounen ai are made by women for women. They are ment to be more about the relationship more than anything else. Yuri holds more interest for guys but they don't want much of the relationship part making it hard to do a story.

I'm obsessed with yaoi and yuri.
I'm gonna have to post up a list of both, now...

Shonen-Ai

Loveless
Eerie Queerie
Boy Princess
Demon Diary (just very slashy, I think...)
Petshop of Horrors (same as Demon Diary)
Gravitation
Only the Ring Finger Knows (it's supposedly good, but I've never read it =/)
Princess Princess (should probably carry on reading this...)

Yaoi

FAKE
Sensitive Pornograph (my first real 'yaoi')
Innocent Bird (still haven't read this =/)
Gakuen Heaven

Shojo-Ai

A Kiss, Love and a Prince
Angel Dust
Cotton

Yuri

Haru yo Koi
Girl Friends (just started reading)

It's so difficult to find yuri/shojo-ai. TT-TT

You should also join The Shonen-Ai and Yaoi Guild. ^^

And, I've recntly started hoarding Death Note doujinshi. With a few raw Digimon doujin I can't read. =/

EDIT: Should I post up some doujinshi? =/ I also know a really good DN doujin game...

You also mention hentai. Hentai in general is very easy to find. I could find links to thousands of doujin, manga and image galleries without trying. The problem is finding what you want. Most are quick and dirty without a plot. It gets harder if you're looking for more. I've seen some good plot filled, emotional Inuyasha doujin out there that have been translated.

There's the other problem, not a lot of sites have much that's been translated. There's lots of people who translate but far too much to be translated.

I know of two yaois Necratoholic (mature) and Rin (18+). Necratoholic is a vampire yaoi.

As for yuri the only series that I know of is Strawberry Panic.

My name is Azaveil and I'm a hard core yaoi addict. I have been for the last four years when my younger sister and her friend handed me my first yaoi manga. I check MangaUpdates.com every day for scanlated series of the yaoi variety that the US hasn't published yet. I probably have over forty cds filled with yaoi scanlations. I also have two yaoi movies and about ten yaoi manga. I think I belong to fifteen different website forums just to download yaoi and I even learned how to navigate the MIRC Highway just to feed my addiction.

There are plenty of shoujo ai series out there.

3nodding

Which is girl/girl in a romantic setting vs yuri, which is sexual.

I don't mind yaoi in my manga and anime, but in hentai I prefer yuri or hetero hentai. My fave yaoi anime is Yami no Matsuei (because you can see the yaoi undertone it has) and manga is Princess Princess. Fave hentai is nearly all of them, lol.

It's times that can be frustrating as I could link to a hentai site that has 300+ galleries marked as containing yaoi. However it is clearly against the TOS to do so even by pm. I don't want to get banned just for linking people to something they might want.

Personally, I'm not a yaoi fan, straight male, go figure. rolleyes I'm not much of a yuri fan either. It's more of a case by case thing. Oddly I enjoy a bit of futa, which really is the best of both worlds, yet I'm not sure why. I'm not so big on story as most of the stuff I see is in japanese but I do like a bit of story if I can find stuff in english.
